World Population Day Observation: Organized a seminar on "Census 2011 and the Girl Child."
Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP):Conducted a five-day EDP for selected women entrepreneurs.
Educational Support Initiatives: Facilitated educational support for girl children by linking them with various individuals and organizations and provided educational support materials to 27 girl children in partnership with the Ontario Teachers Federation, Canada.
Formation of Village-Level Pockets: Established 20 village-level pockets involving 3,000 households, emphasizing marginalized women.
Dalit Community Empowerment: Regular training programs on local social issues and leadership development at hamlet and Grama Panchayat levels to support inclusivity and empowerment and provided financial support to Dalit families for micro-income-generating activities like goat-rearing projects led by women.
Legal Awareness and Support: Through the Adhwana Legal Aid Cell, legal awareness sessions were organized to educate Dalits, citizens, women, children, and the elderly about their rights. Recognized by the Women and Child Department, Government of Kerala, as a service provider for victims of domestic violence via an official Gazette Notification, Adhwana has also provided continuous legal and psycho-social support to numerous victims of domestic violence.
Participation in International Campaigns: Participated in the international campaign (Orange the World Campaign) against atrocities against women through awareness programs, discussions, and the Red Ribbon Campaign.
Impact Evaluation: Conducted an impact evaluation of the international development project "Gender Equity through Social, Political, and Economic Empowerment."
 
Adhwana implemented a women empowerment project from January 2003 to June 2024 in seven coastal areas of Trivandrum, benefiting housewives, fish vending women, adolescents, and fishermen in partnership with Trivandrum Social Service Society (TSSS), Calcatta Ondoan, Spain and local bodies in Trivandrum Municipal Corporation. The project formed Self-Help Groups (SHGs), forums, and federated higher groups, working with local bodies on activities such as skill development, livelihood promotion, awareness sessions, and environmental conservation. Key outcomes included enhanced knowledge of social issues, livelihood support, organic gardening, anti-violence sensitization, and environmental responsibility. Additionally, many women received training in employment and self-employment trades.
 
Four houses are being built for very poor families in Valiyathura coastal village where people are heavily affected by sea erosion and shoreline damages in partnership with Trivandrum Social Service Society (TSSS), and HILFSWERK HILFE ZUR, Liechtenstein.
 
 
Adhwana, in collaboration with the Trivandrum Social Service Society (TSSS) and the Italian Bishops Conference, supported the reconstruction and development efforts for victims of the Ockhi cyclone in Trivandrum, India. The initiative focused on providing relief, rebuilding livelihoods, and addressing the long-term needs of affected communities through various support programs aimed at enhancing resilience and sustainable development.
